The Gym Club Classes

Classes, commonly referred to as group exercise, give you a great chance to work towards achieving your goals, in a fun-filled, motivating and structured environment. The majority of our classes are held in our purpose built Studio and Indoor Cycle room, which are always air conditioned for your comfort.

You’ll be inspired by our great instructors, as well as the music and routines. Group exercise has been proven to help you achieve your goals quicker and more efficiently than just hitting the treadmill for half an hour!

Class Descriptions

CIRCUITS

A simple to follow effective workout consisting of a series of short bursts of a variety of cardiovascular/calorie burning movements and muscle toning/ strengthening exercises.

CLUB CYCLE

A really effective, motivating calorie burning/ cardiovascular workout on our indoor bikes that involves no routines or need for co–ordination.

GYM FLOOR KETTLE BELLS

Express Kettle Bell class on the gym floor.

GYM FLOOR OMNIA RIG

Express Omnia Rig Class held in the functional fitness area on the gym floor.

HIIT

A series of group exercise classes which combine short bursts of high intensity training with periods of recovery.

LEGS BUMS & TUMS

A popular group exercise class (especially with our female members) which targets the legs, bum and tum area to shape and tone the body.

METAFIT

A body weight training class that boosts metabolism for upto 24 hours, so you can even burn fat in your sleep!

BODYBAR

A weights based class using a barbel and plates to strengthen and tone.

HATHA YOGA

Beginners’ yoga consisting of classic yoga moves to stretch the body and improve flexibility.

STRETCH AND RELAX YOGA

A Yin Yoga class to target tendons and ligaments along with salutations that stretch muscles to increase flexibility.

VINYASA YOGA

A flowing yoga class moving from posture to posture in a sequence using the breath as an anchor, connecting mind and body, through rhythm and movement.

FUNCTIONAL MOVEMENT AND MOBILITY

An equipment free, full body circuit for all level. Including balance and core exercises.

BODYBAR

A class using weights and bodyweight exercises for a whole-body workout.

BODYBAR BLAST

An express class using weights and bodyweight exercises for a whole-body workout.

BODY CONDITIONING
A whole body workout using body weight exercises, resistance bands and weighted exercises.

PILATES

A low impact, full body workout focussing on core stability.

TRIGGER POINT PILATES

A class using body weight excercises and small equipment to strengthen the core and release muscle fascia soreness.
